Change Order Management

We manage the change order process and negotiate, estimate, and schedule any deviations from established budgetary and contractual obligations. We manage and coordinate requests for information, as well as change orders involving scope modifications impacting the budget and schedule. We have a proven track record of resolving change order requests in an efficient and effective manner, ultimately, saving clients a significant part of the budget by avoiding delays and cost overruns.

Construction Scheduling

On a daily basis, all parties are affected by construction scheduling. The usefulness of establishing a baseline for project controls can be measured in terms of accuracy, completeness, and realism. VJA can play an important role in keeping you on track: understanding exactly how variations will have an impact, why they occurred in the first place, and what to do to recover the schedule.

Using Primavera or Microsoft Project, we are methodical about highlighting in our schedules potential delays, slippage, and upcoming critical tasks. Time and costs must be simultaneously estimated to establish a true reading of a project’s progress and a contract’s performance.

Construction Inspection & QA/QC

Our OSHA-trained construction inspectors and construction office engineers bring a lifetime of experience inspecting projects under real-world conditions. Their vast knowledge includes an in-depth understanding of materials performance but also encompasses current labor and global market realities. They can assess whether a contractor is complying with the standards established in your documentation and specifications.
