VJ Associates was selected by Dattner Architects to provide value engineering services for the Wave Hill House renovation in Bronx, New York. The Wave Hill House is a 14,000 sf upgrade and renovation to include ADA accessibility, improvements to public areas, MEP upgrades, and façade restoration work. Our certified AVS representative was part of a team that provided cost help for value engineering, saving $890,000 on this project.
The Wave Hill House was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, according to Living Places. Its history dates back to 1843 and has had many residents throughout the years. In 1960 the house was given as a gift to the City of New York. Currently, the Wave Hill House is a museum surrounded by 28 acres of gardens, overlooking the Hudson River in the Bronx, NY.
