Jones Beach West Bathhouse

VJ Associates was selected by Stantec to provide a Feasibility Study Estimate for the Jones Beach West Bathhouse at Jones Beach State Park, Wantagh, NY. This project is a renovation and upgrade of a historical structure built in Art Deco style. The scope of work includes replacing or repairing damaged roofing systems, replacing doors and frames, repairing masonry walls, replacing pool yard pavers, repairing drainage piping and drains in the pool yard, and some structural repairs throughout the entire building.

Jones Beach State Park opened to the public in August 1929 and was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. Jones Beach has received nearly 500 million visitors in the last 80 years, and is the largest public recreational bathing park in the world, according to this website.
