VJ Associates is expanding its 25 years of excellence in cost estimating and construction consulting services in New York and New Jersey to New England.
Caroline Fitzgerald, PE, LEED AP, will lead the New England operations. Caroline is a structural engineer by background with over twenty years of experience in the design and construction industries. She has managed multiple award-winning projects in various market sectors and has developed a strong network within the A/E/C community.
In 1997, Caroline opened and provided overall leadership to Arup's Boston office. She led and managed multi-disciplined design teams for many noteworthy government, institutional, and cultural buildings.
Caroline was most recently the Director of Business Development and Marketing at LDa Architects in Cambridge. She is well known in the Boston building community, where she served for two years on the Board of Architecture of Boston magazine. Caroline is active in the BSA's Women in Design network, has been a speaker at Build Boston for the past six years, and has been a guest critic at MIT, Harvard, WIT, and RISD.
