Eagle Academy for Young Men

VJ Associates was selected by E.W. Howell to provide project scheduling services for the Eagle Academy for Young Men in Bronx, NY. The scope of services included preparing the baseline construction CPM schedule and providing monthly updates. The baseline schedule covered all phases of the project, including mobilization, permits, procurement, drawing submittals and approvals, construction, and commissioning. We also assisted our client in preparing backgrounds for owner negotiations regarding time extension claims and prepared revised baseline schedules.  

The Eagle Academy for Young Men, located in Bronx, NY, is a new 70,000 sq ft construction of a 4-story school. The building will contain classrooms, laboratories, an orchestra room, art studio, and a library. In addition, a full-service cafeteria and a gymnasium will both serve as flexible-use space for community events. The school is scheduled to open for students in the Fall of 2010.
