New York Construction's "Best of 2008" Award for Best Transit Project went to Myrtle-Wyckoff Complex Rehabilitation in Brooklyn, NY.
This project consists of providing fare and non-fare passageways underneath the overhead subway station to the underground station and building a new transit office building within the existing footprint. The complexities of this project included phasing the work to keep minimum disruption to land and rail traffic and re-routing major utilities. VJ Associates provided the cost estimating services to the architect, Dattner Architects. The owner of this project was NYC Transit.
