Caroline Fitzgerald, PE, LEED AP, will be leading the newly formed New England office. Caroline is a structural engineer by background with over twenty years of experience in the building industry, working on prestigious and award-winning projects, and developing a network of relationships with many members of the A/E/C community.  After receiving her BSCE from Tufts University, Caroline worked in New York City, first with the Office of Irwin Cantor, and then with Arup engineers.  In 1997 she opened and then managed Arup's Boston office where she was responsible for the design and management of the multi-disciplinary design teams for many noteworthy civic, institutional, and cultural buildings, as well as overall leadership of the office. 

Caroline was most recently the Director of Business Development and Marketing at LDa Architects in Cambridge.  She is well known in the Boston building community, where she served for 2 years on the Board of Architecture Boston magazine, is active in the BSA's Women in Design network, has spoken at Build Boston for the past six years, and has been a guest critic at MIT, Harvard, WIT, and RISD.  Caroline especially enjoys the process of working with other design professionals to realize their visions.
